DataPath Player: Spacing is incorrect in between displays; aspect ratio is turned on

Potential Symptoms

  • Spacing in between multiple displays controlled by a DataPath player is incorrect
  • Example:

Environment

  • Product: DataPath VSN400
  • Component: 
  • Control System: WallControl 10

Cause

  • Aspect Ratio is checked on some or all of the inputs in the WallControl software.

Resolution

  1. Uncheck aspect ratio on the inputs of the player.
    1. Open up the wall control software.
    2. Select the display that you are wanting to modify.
    3. click on each source and select the sub-menu labeled "instance".
    4. uncheck aspect ratio.
  2. Note that if the player loses communication to the network the input sources need to be redragged to the monitor in the correct order in the software.  The aspect ratio then needs to be unchecked again as the input loses it's settings after being re-dragged.
