Local Hosted Venus Control Suite: How do I add a temperature / weather feed to my content?

    • Easy drop weather is not available for local VCS

Steps

  1. Log into Venus Control Suite.  See: Venus Web Editor: How do I add a temperature / weather feed to my content?
  2. If you know the Zip code you can use an accuweather feed by adding a Zip Code to the end of the URL
  3. Alternatively, Search the National Weather Service Database  for XML Feeds of Current Weather Conditions by state; https://forecast.weather.gov/xml/current_obs
    • Find the closest location possible and select either RSS or XML 
  4. Navigate to the Data Studio Tab and follow: Data Studio: How do I configure web data sources?
