DMP-8000 stuck on one piece of content and won't blank, DMP lock up

Potential Symptoms

  • DMP-8000 is stuck on one piece of content and we can't blank the display from Display Studio.
  • We can play other content over the piece of content that is stuck but we can't blank the display.
  • DMP is not moving to the next content of a playlist regardless of properties set in the script.

Cause

  • DMP-8000 is locked up.

Resolution

  • Restart the DMP-8000 from the HTML interface.
    • If able to access the DMP via Bomgar or VNC, close the player window.
