How to set up an over height detection system VFC

Steps
Base on contract or site configuration will determine the placement and connection type of your OHD system.
- in the NTCIP application select your Sign.
- Configuration>Peripheral>Add>Advanced Setup>Add Over Height Detector (option2)
- Select type of connection
- VIP 1 : OHD is connected directly to VFC I/O pins
- Ethernet I/O : Typically not used due to slight delay
- Select which Pin is Control Pin : select pins 1-6
- (Selecting Pin 1 = pins 1 & 2) (Selecting Pin 2 = pins 3 & 4)
- Inverted(Normally Open = High) :
- Yes : If switch is connected to VIP
- No : If Ethernet I/O is used
- Select what message to run
- Default : Play Default message (message that is set to emergency activation using Vanguard software)
- Permanent : Plays one selected message from the permanent message library
- Changeable message : Plays one selected message created in Message Control
- Blank : Display will blank
- If using the DC I/O you can short the pins to test if the OHD is triggering correctly

NOTE: Emergency overheight message needs to be stored in message slot 2. Log into the controller and check to see if there are any message stored in the controller. Use Vanguard software to create and send message to slot 2 in the controller. Delete any messages that are stored in slot 1.
If there is a messages in slot 1, then this was sent there by an operator using Vanguard software.
