Scoreboard is randomly power cycling or off, surge card sending short to power supply

  • Scoreboard is randomly power cycling.
  • Scoreboard is blank with no POST.

Cause

  • Power input pins are sending a short to the power supply causing the power supply to send the short to the driver.

Resolution

  • Replace the surge card.

For Temporary Operation

  • Adjust the pins on the power input of the surge card so that they are not shorting.
