All Sport Pro: iPad Will Not Load Web App; Wrong IP Address

Potential Symptoms

  • All Sport Pro iPad is not loading the web app.
    • Can control through laptop normally using localhost:5000.
  • While on the same network, iPad is not opening to the pre-configured All Sport Pro software.

Environment

  • Product: All Sport Pro (ASP)
  • Component: iPad
  • Control System: Studio One

Cause

  • All Sport Pro software is installed on another device.
  • IP Address is not set to the expected Address.

Resolution

  1. Locate the correct device with the All Sport Pro software.
    • Ensure you are able to log into the web app.
  2. Type: <All Sport Pro server IP address>:5000 in the address bar on Safari.
    • Set the laptop to a static IP address to prevent similar issues in the future.
  3. Log in to confirm access.

Correct home screen shortcut

  1. While logged into the web app, tap the share icon image.pngon the browser.
  2. Scroll towards the bottom for the "Add to Home Screen" option.
    • This will only be an available option once logged into the All Sport Pro Application.
  3. Delete the existing shortcut to ensure future users do not open the incorrect icon.
    1. Firmly press on the icon and hold until a "-" symbol appears in the top right.
    2. Press the "-" to remove the application.
    3. Select Delete option.
