None

  • Behavior: Static List. It remains unchanged unless the underlying data for the records is altered.
Example: a list of the top 5 items.

One Time

  • Behavior: This displays the entire list once, halting at the conclusion. It remains static on the final page and will reset when the layout duration concludes. Depending on the number of records shown, there may be a blank space or gap at the end.
    Example: movie credits.

Page Loop

  • Behavior: This cycles through the entire list and begins anew from the start. The cycle repeats whenever the content does. To minimize repetitions, it is recommended to extend the duration of your layout. Depending on the number of records shown, there may be a blank space or gap at the end.
  • Update behavior: Data is queried/updated when the paging cycle starts and is repeated.
    Example: Leaderboards or ranking charts.

Continuous Loop

  • Behavior: It displays a complete list without any blanks at the end. Any empty spaces at the end are filled from the beginning of the list, creating a seamless loop. This process repeats whenever the content begins anew.
  • Update behavior: Data array is queried 1 time and then repeated (data is not re-queried/updated as content is being played)
    Example: Tweets/Headlines
