Setup EDID Emulation on DMP-8122

Steps

  1. Power off DMP-8122 if not already.
  2. Connect LCD display(s) to the DMP via the HDMI ports (A,B).

  1. Power on LCD displays, if not already.
  2. Power on the player and press the F2 key on the keyboard to open the BIOS.
  3. Navigate to the Advanced tab.
  4. Open Video settings.
  5. Select Display Emulation.
  6. Change the setting from [No display emulation] to [Persistent display emulation].

  1. Select [Inconsistent Display Warning].
  2. Change the setting from [Block Boot] to [Countdown].
8122-Countdown
  1. Press the F10 key on the keyboard and select Yes to save configuration and exit.
8122-OK
  1. The player will reboot to apply the changes.
  2. At the [Persistent Display Emulation Alert] page during system bootup, press B on the keyboard to learn the new EDIDs.
