StatVision 2023: MLB At Stadium Season or Career stats not available, use alternate In Home fields in the MLB API

Potential Symptoms

Background:  For the 2023 MLB season, we were forced to make changes to our pre-game download from MLB due to legacy methods that had expired.  A few things were impacted by this development. 
  • Instead of making the changes in the legacy GameDay software, we moved the pre-game download to our modern Data Studio Baseball product.
  • Instead of continuing to import situational stats from Elias Sports Bureau, we knew we could get almost everything from MLB and simplify the solution.
    • We believe the only situational stats we were not able to get, was a player’s batting average at a specific stadium over the current year and their career.  However, we do have their home batting average for 2023 and over their career which is probably what most were using.  We do not have plans to try and calculate the missing batting stats at a specific stadium currently.
With that, some season or career stats at Stadium are not available through MLB API.
