  3. Verify ethernet and fiber connections are plugged in all the way
    • Fiber box: ADC1 should be plugged into a POE port, Router, Control, and Dante ports should be plugged in
    • Control Enclosure: The amplifier network port and Dante primary port should be plugged in
  4. Verify Network Activity:
  • P1 LED located just under the PLANET logo should be illuminated to indicate switch has power
    • If P1 LED is not illuminated:
      1. Verify proper connections to power supply, PWR1 Red to + and Black to -
      2. Verify power supply is supplying 48VDC
      3. Try connecting power to PWR2 inputs, verify P2 LED Illuminates
  • The link light on port 9 or 10 should show link and activity
    • If the link light doesn't illuminate:
      1. Switch SFP ports to see if the other one works
      2. Bypass fiber jumpers, if it starts working, replace the fiber jumper
      3. Test fiber cable and re-terminate as necessary
      4. Verify power and connectivity at the other switch
      5. Replace SFP card
      6. Replace Switch
  • Each ethernet jack also has an activity LED that will illuminate when a cable to other equipment is connected
    • If these LEDs are not illuminating:
      1. Check ethernet cables and connections
      2. Verify connection on the opposite end of the ethernet cable
      3. Connect a known working cable and equipment (laptop)
      4. If still not illuminating, replace switch or try other port.
