Unable to connect to ECCB on iPhone. Disable Limit IP Address Tracking

Potential Symptoms

  • iPhone or iPad connects to Pico Wi-Fi but connecting to the controller only spins.
  • Web interface for ECCB does not load.
  • Same results on Safari, Chrome and Firefox browsers.
  • Android phones or PC laptops are able to connect to controller.

Cause

  • For an unknown reason, iOS IP address obfuscation blocks the web configuration from establishing a connection to the browser.

Resolution

  1. Connect to display's Wi-Fi.
  2. Open iOS settings.
  3. Click Wi-Fi.
  4. Click the blue "i" with the circle around it.

  5. Disable "Limit IP Address Tracking".

  • Note: This only disables the setting for your display's Wi-Fi, it will not effect your privacy when connected to a different Wi-Fi.
