Unable to connect to the eCCB's wifi network, VPN enabled on device

Potential Symptoms

  • Able to connect to the eCCB's wifi using another device
  • The device that won't connect sees the wifi network of the display but it won't accept it's password.
  • We are using the correct wifi password
  • potential VPN used:  Norton 360 
 
 

Environment

  • Product: eCCB (Electronic Changeable Copy Board)
  • Components: Smart phone
  • Control System: 

Cause

  • VPN is installed and enabled on the device.
     

Resolution

  • Disable VPN on that device.
  • Verify you can connect to the display's wifi network.
  • Then log into its control interface and see if you can run the sign.
