6000 Processor: How do I configure to blank display with no content detected?

Blank Prolink Output when DP input is not present

Environment

  • Product: DI-6000, VP-6000

Steps

Verify the DP input # to configure.
  1. Select the configuration(Wrench)> Inputs >Select the DP input> Number. 
  2. Take note of the DP Input number.

Access the disaster handlers in the Advanced Config.
In the browser, navigate to

Configure the Input for the Watchdog
  1. Click Add and choose the InputWatchdog from the dropdown. 
  2. Name- add a description
  3. Input number- choose the input number.  (As noted in the previous steps.)
  4. Save changes.

Blank Override
  1. To force blanking, the BlankOverride should be set to “On”
  2. Click on the BlankOverride button to send the http request.
👉The blank override choice does not take effect until the “BlankOverride” button is clicked, in which case it will send a request to either force blanking or not force blanking, depending on if “On” or “Off” is selected.

Status
This gives detail of when the watchdog was last tripped and the overall count of errors.
