DakStats Baseball: How do I advance the current batter if play is still being scored

Topic

If a ruling/scoring is being decided, it may be necessary to assign a batter to a base in order to bring the next batter up. After the ruling/score is confirmed the sequence can be assigned to the play. This is called a reach wait.

Environment

  • Product: Control System
  • Component: DakStats Baseball
  • Control System: Show Control System (SCS)

Steps

If play is being reviewed use the R shortcut or select RchWait and select "ENTER"

Continue with normal operation to ensure that players are on the correct bases.
When ruling/scoring is decided, select the line that shows "Awaiting official ruling/scoring" 
Select awaiting official ruling or scoring.PNG
Update the play to reflect the official ruling/scoring results.
