Sales content in Venus Control Suite is not running in the correct order.

Potential Symptoms

  • Sales content in Venus Control Suite is not running in the correct order. 
  • The correct content is running on the display but it is out of order.
  • Not all of the sales content can be seen on the display.

Environment

  • Product Family: 
  • Product: Venus Basic, Venus Select, Venus Professional, Venus Enterprise
  • Component: Venus Pro Ad Grid
  • Control System: Venus Control Suite (VCS)

Cause

  • Sales content is not running on the Ad Grid Zone. 

Resolution

  • Verify which zone is the Ad Grid Zone by checking the layout file for the display in Venus Control Suite.
    • Click on the Tools icon in Venus Control Suite Left menu.
    • Click on the Layouts tile.
    • Click the layout that is currently playing on the display.
    • Click the pencil icon on the window that opens to edit the layout. 
    • Verify which zone is selected for the Ad Grid Zone in the top right corner.
  • Add the Ad Grid Zone to the playlists that are running on the Sales grid. 
  • Remove the other zone associated with the display from the playlists.
  • Verify all content is running correctly on the display.
