VL-6700 Vanguard software diagnostics results

Potential Symptoms

  • Pixel test results don't show XY coordinates in Vanguard pixel test results.
  • Peripherals aren't shown correctly in Vanguard Software Diagnostics.

Cause

  • Pixel results are limited to total number of pixels failed, not the actual X,Y coordinates within the display.
  • The controller inside these display types doesn't have the capability to report peripheral diagnostics back to Vanguard software. resulting in errors.

Resolution

  • Pixel test works, it will show total failed LED's.
  • Do not use the Diagnostics feature within Vanguard Software.
