DM-100 shows a looping pattern on its LCD screen when connected to an Allied NeXGen PoS System, unknown issue

Potential Symptoms

  • The DM-100 shows a looping pattern on its LCD when:
    • It is connected to an Allied NeXGen PoS System
    • AND
    • The Service field for any of its Lines in PoS Settings is set to Self

Environment

  • Product Family: Digit and Price Displays
  • Product: DM-100
  • Components: DM-100 (issue only seen so far when its firmware revision is 4.8)
  • Control System: DM-100 connected to an Allied NeXGen PoS System

Cause

  • Unknown

Resolution

  • You should still be able to update prices from the PoS System. Please verify that you can.
  • Contact Daktronics Tech Support or Allied Tech Support if you need further assistance.
