What do the FL-3000/4500 Driver LED indicators mean?

What do the diagnostic LED indicators on the FL-3000/4500 Driver tell me?
 

Environment

  • Product: FL-3000, FL-4500
  • Component: Gyrus Driver
  • Control System: FLR3-100, FLR3-1500, FLR3-400, DM-100, DM-100 with 2 serial ports

Steps

  • Reference the below drawing to identify where the listed LED's are located on the Driver. 
    1. DS1 - Comm Port Status - LED will be solid on when a communications device is connected to the J16 port.
      • DS1 might also blink in normal operation - refer to DD1986156 for more info
    2. DS2 - J10 Port - LED will be solid on if a line-to-line cable is detected on the J10 port.
    3. DS3 - J9 Port - LED will be solid on if a line-to-line cable is detected on the J9 port.
    4. DS4 - Heartbeat - LED will blink in 1 second intervals when Driver is properly functioning.
    5. DS7 - Power - LED will be solid on when power is detected.
