VFC-3000 controllers LCD screen shows current display as Image too large

Potential Symptoms

VFC-3000 controller shows current display as Image too large.
LCD screen unable to represent the signs dimensions/ total pixels.

Environment

  • VFC-3000 controller
  • Large display
    • Example VF-2020-96X384-20-RGB

Cause

VFC-3000 limitation.
The controllers LCD screen cant represent the amount of pixels being reported by the display.

Resolution

  • This is a limitation of an older product (VFC-3000) with newer technology (large display)
  • Use an NTCIP software to see what is/ should be playing on the controller.
  • Look at the display and see if the message is playing on it.
