Content Studio: How to blank a text field when an associated data value is empty

Data Elements- Configure a text field to blank when an associated data value is empty 
For example, if there is a & text field associated with the down and to go data.  The & symbol can blank if any other data is not present. 

Environment

  • Product: Content Studio version 2.15.1.70 or later
  • Components: DMP-8000
  • Control System: Show Control 2.30.0.29 or later

Steps

  1. Select which field you would like to utilize the blank option for.
  2. Fields must utilize multiple fields tool in order to use the blank text field tool.
  3. Field Properties Highlighted.PNGadditional fields.PNG
  4. Select Close.
  5. Once the paired data fields are in the Content Studio presentation select Blank Options
  6. Select whether the data should not blank, blank when any field is empty, or when all fields are empty.
