Steps

Power restart via Power Button

  1. Verify the power status of the player via indicator light on the power button should be solid White
  2. Press and release the power button once
  3. Verify the power indicator light is OFF
    • if so, proceed to step #6
  4. If the initial press/release did not power the device off, HOLD the power button for 10 seconds, the light should turn OFF.
    • if so, proceed to step #6
  5. Wait 30-60 seconds
  6. Press and release the power button once
  7. Verify the power indicator light is ON solid White
  8. Re-test functionality
 

Power cycle by disconnecting power

  1. If the light still does not turn off, disconnect the power cable either from the back of the player, or from the power source it is connected to (ensure the correct cable is disconnected by tracing it).
    • Wait 30-60 seconds, upon reconnection of the cable, the device should power on immediately.
    • If not, press and release the power button once.
    • Proceed to step #5.
  2. Wait 30-60 seconds.
  3. Press and release the power button once.
  4. Verify the power indicator light is ON solid White.
  5. Re-test functionality.
