Stalker Pro 2 and 2+ or Stalker Sport Pro 3s Radar Gun not outputting to All Sport console, gun configured incorrectly
Potential Symptoms
- No output from the Stalker Pro 2 or 3s radar gun to the All Sport.
- Maybe can see only "000" in a terminal program connected to radar gun.
- Maybe the speed doesn't show up on the screen of the Radar gun itself.

- Product: Speed of Pitch (SOP)
- Component: Stalker Pro 2, Stalker Pro 2+ (a.k.a. Stalker Pro II+), Stalker Sport Pro 3s
- Control System: All Sport 5000, All Sport 5100, All Sport 5010
Cause
- Radar Gun is configured incorrectly
Resolution
How to Access and Navigate the Options Menu:
- Briefly press the Menu button on the Radar gun to enter Operator Options
- Then press the Menu button again and hold it down for longer than half a second to get to the Options Menu.
- Briefly press the MENU button again to step through the features in the Options Menu.
- Press the SELECT key to change the settings.
- For Stalker Pro II+ (possibly for the standard Stalker Pro II): When setting multi-digit numbers, such as Low Speed or High Speed, the TRANSMIT and PEAK keys can be used to select a specific digit to increase or decrease. Briefly pressing the TRANSMIT key moves the cursor to the left of the current digit, and briefly pressing the PEAK key moves the cursor to the next digit on the right.
- Pull the trigger to save all settings and return to normal operation
Radar Gun Configuration:
- Below are two possible ways you can configure the Radar Gun. All features not listed can be left on their default settings.
- Daktronics Tech Support has not had enough experience with these Radar Guns to know which will work for you or why we've had it work two different ways. There is a theory the Stalker Pro II and II+ need slightly different configurations. We have recent precedence of "Configuration 2" working with a II+. We are not %100 sure of this theory.
