Content does not show correctly on display running DWP, display settings configured wrong

Potential Symptoms

  • Display running DWP shows content incorrectly, may be flipped or cut off.

Environment

  • Control System: Venus Control Suite 

Cause

  • Height and width settings for the display configured backwards in VCS ex. 1080x1920 rather than 1920x1080. 

Resolution

  • Adjust the configuration settings for the display in VCS so that the width and height values reflect the orientation of the display.
    • Note:  After saving settings in VCS you may have to modify and save a playlist for changes to show on the display.
