How to End an Inning After 2 Outs during Spring Training?

For Spring Training games as of 2021, Official Baseball Rule 5.09(e) will be relaxed, allowing defensive managers to end an inning prior to three outs following any completed plate appearance, provided the pitcher has thrown at least 20 pitches.

Steps

In DakStats Baseball, to advance to the next 1/2 inning, you'll need to enter a play sequence that will record a 3rd out without giving that out to the next batter up in a way that affects theirs or their team's stats
  1. If at least 20 pitches have occurred and the team manager decides to end the inning after 2 outs, select the F6 Special Tab in DakStats
  2. Select Spectator Interference
  3. Charge the out to the Catcher. This will give a 3rd out on a non-batted ball and will advance to the next batter and next 1/2 inning
  4. After the next 1/2 inning, and the team that ended the inning with only 2 batted outs is back up to bat again, select the F6 Special Tab again
  5. Choose Skip Pos in Bat Order
  6. Select the batter that was next up to bat before the Spectator Interference was recorded and continue recording game play
