DMP-8000; display blanks on its own

Potential Symptoms

  • Display blanks on its own.
  • DMP 8000 stops looping through playlist
  • Playlists stops and clears on the players after a few times through. Should be continuous.
  • Multiple DMP-8000s stop and clear playlists at different times
  • Event Viewer, Applications and Services Logs, Daktronics: 
    • Warning: dmp-8000, schedule [Sign Name]: unable to clear configuration

Cause

  • Venus Control Suite (VCS) Schedule Mode is enabled.

Resolution

  • Access VCS.
  • Locate and click the Display with DMP-8000 player and Sign Name.
  • Click Scheduling.
  • Turn Off Schedule Mode.
  • Click Save.
