Deleted content still appearing on sign; Media file present in playlist in another user account

Potential Symptoms

  • Deleted content still showing on sign.
  • Content removed from all playlists in current user account and playlists removed or inactivated but content is still showing on sign.

Environment

  • Product Family: Message Displays

  • Component: User controlling multiple child accounts from parent account
  • Control System: VCS - Dak Hosted

Cause

  • The particular content or media file/s are listed in an active playlist that is in another user account and is associated to the display.

Resolution

  1. Switch accounts to locate the playlist that is still active and either delete or inactivate the playlist or delete the media file from the playlist.
  2. Save playlist changes.
