What do football codes 6611 and 6612 get utilized for?

Steps

  • Codes 6611 and 6612 were originally created for large (usually custom) scoreboards with digits that use 4 columns to light up a digit.
  • Codes 6611 and 6612 still do have the standard address numbers (like address 15 info) so can work with standard/auxiliary boards as well.
  • Current production modular scoreboards (e.g. fb-25xx & FB-26xxx) and custom boards now use the standard address/digit assignments so codes 6611 and 6612 are no longer really needed for new boards, only older custom boards
    • new boards use breakout boards with power supplies to drive large digits verses multiple columns.
