Content Studio: How do I create media RTD fields for a web-based source?

How do I create media RTD fields in Content Studio for a web-based source?

Steps

Save creative to be used for Media RTD
  1. Save your creative as follows:
    1. Navigate to the image URL given by the data source using a web browser
    2. Right-click on the image and Save Image As…. And save it locally to your machine. This file will be used as a template for size and placement. During playback, the DMP-8000 will go to the image URL to grab the image file

Create a Presentation
  1. Start a new presentation in Content Studio
  2. Choose your Category from the Dynamic Data Library on the left hand side of Content Studio (i.e. the feed you created in Data Studio – in our example, NBA News)

Import a RTD Field
  1. Find the field you wish to insert as an RTD field. Click & drag it into the presentation 
  2. Select the Field Properties tab from the top of Content Studio. This will appear once an RTD field has been added to the presentation and is selected
  3. Check the "Is media RTD" checkbox
  4. A popup window will open. Browse to the image you wish to associate with the RTD Field
    1. When you select a file, you are not necessarily selecting the image that will always appear, rather a place holder that will allow you to properly place where you want the Media RTD to appear
    2. Adjust the image to the location and size that you want it. Formatting needs to be similar in aspect ratio to the image you are pulling in. Media RTD will scale the image you select, into the area you select in the presentation
    3. Repeat Steps 1 through 3 to insert any other Media RTD Images you wish to place in your presentation
Complete and Save the Presentation
  1. Click and Drag and other RTD fields (non-image) that you wish to use in your presentation, and format appropriately 
  2. Save the presentation.
