All Sport Pro: How do I Switch Between All Sport Pro and DakStats/Stat Crew for my Stat Panels?

Topic

  • How do I Switch Between All Sport Pro (Volleyball/Basketball) or DakStats/Stat Crew for my Stat Panels?
  • I want to show display player information from my stats panels from my Dakstats with DSTI setup and use All Sport Pro for my in-game details.

Environment

Product Family: Control Systems, Software
Product:
  • Volleyball 1.5.189 (All Sport Pro 20.8.2016 or later)
  • Basketball 1.5.306 (All Sport Pro 20.11.603 or later)
Component: DSTI, Stat Crew, DakStats
Control System: Show Control System (SCS)

Steps

Create game in the All Sport Pro application.
  1. Select the icon in the top left corner and click Games from the slide out.
  2. Click Add New
  3. Choose Volleyball or Basketball.
  4. Choose the applicable rule profile.
  5. Choose the applicable scoreboard.  Note External player stats are only supported with Data Source 1 (UDP/IP 21000)
Open DSTI and the data provider.
  1. The DSTI needs to be configured for UDP/IP 20999.  This would be a standard high school configuration as shown below. This will work for court one as it uses 20999.
  2. Open the game in DakStats Volleyball or Stat Crew.
Open the Game in All Sport Pro
  1. The UX should identify a game on UDP/IP 20999.  This will disable your roster as shown below:
  2. If DSTI and the Data Provider gets disconnected, clicking the Disable button in the Rosters tab will allow player stats to be entered via All Sport Pro again. The player numbers and stats will be the last values received from DSTI, which does not include player names.
  •
If desire to go back to DSTI and the Data Provider, click Enable External Player Stats in the roster menu. The roster data entered via All Sport Pro will be cleared. This option will only be visible if this game previously was using external player stats.
