TNMC (Team Name Message Center): Guest blank on scoreboard after installing gyrus driver and wireless communication

Potential Symptoms

  • Guest TNMC  are blank on a scoreboard or after installing gyrus driver and wireless communication.
  • Guest TNMC will turn on and show Guest briefly before blanking after power is applied to the scoreboard.
  • Red signal light on the driver is lit.
  • Signal wires are installed on signal-out pins on the terminal block

Environment

  • Product: Indoor Scoreboard with TNMC

Cause

  • TNMC/Electronic Caption is connected to TB31 pins 1 and 2 (signal in) instead of pins 4 and 5 (signal out).

Resolution

  • Connect TNMC/Electronic Captions to TB31 pins 4 and 5 (signal out).
