Do Daktronics displays support a "sticking IP" address with ISP modem connections?

A "sticky IP" address refers to a Static IP address that is linked to a User log in, often used with ISP modems.

    Environment

    • Galaxy or Galaxy Pro display
    • ISP provided ISP modem

    Resolution

    • No currently Daktronics does not support "Sticky IP addresses" since a sticky IP address would require the display to log into the modem with a User name and Password.
    • If the ISP modem requires log in to get a static IP address, then it is recommended that the display is connected to the modem through a customer provided router that is configured to provide a user name and password when connecting to the modem.
      • Daktronics is not responsible for the configuration of the customer provided router
