  • How to change the IP settings on VFC-3000?

Environment

  • VF display
  • VFC-3000/DDMS controller

Steps

  1. Toggle the local/remote so controller is in local and select enter.
  2. Plug ethernet cable into J5 on the back of the VFC-3000.
  3. Open up the LCD simulator program.

2.   Select number 4 for configuration.

3.   Select number 2 for communication configuration.

4. Select number 5 for Ethernet Control Port.

6. Select what protocol you will be using on number 2 TCP/IP and UDP/IP, PPP TCP/IP, or PMPP TCP/IP. Then select 6 for IP settings

7. Setup the controllers IP that needs to be in there, Controller IP port , Controller Subnet, Controller Gateway.
 

8. Once all the information has been added press esc and the controller will do a reset to save the configuration.

9. Once controller is booted back up call the TMC to verify communication is working with software.
