No audio playing out of mall audio system. May also affect some custom audio systems
Potential Symptoms
- Audio doesn't play out of the audio system even though input lights light up on the front of the BSS BLU-100 or other BSS BLU DSP (digital signal processor)
Environment
- Product: Mall audio system and possibly some custom systems
- Component: BSS BLU-100 (or other BSS BLU processor)
- Control System: Contrio Controller with buttons and volume knob, EC-8BV or EC-4BV
Cause
- For Mall systems and some custom systems, the Contrio controller is programmed as a source selector with the volume knob being the master system volume. The volume knob is also a button which can be tied to a system mute. It is possible this button was pushed muting all audio output.
Resolution
- Push the volume button so that it unmutes the main output and allows audio to pass through the system.
