  • Control System: OmniSport 2000

Steps

  1. Gather the lane modules to be tested.  Only 2 lane modules should be tested at a time.
  2. Ensure the lane modules to be tested have clean connections.
  3. With the power switch of the OmniSport 2000 console turned off, plug 1 lane module into the J10 NEAR END jack on the back of the console and the 2nd lane module into the "To Next Lane" connection on the 1st lane mod.
  4. Power on the OmniSport 2000 console and enter Swimming Mode.
  5. Once in Swimming Mode, press [MENU] > [5] > [2]. This will go to the Lane Module Test.
  6. Plug a standard Push Button into the TOUCHPAD jack on the first lane module.
  7. Press and hold the push button down and do not let go for 2 minutes.  When the push button is first pressed, "TP" should show up on the console's LCD for the lane being tested. The "TP" should appear for 2 seconds, turn off and not display again until the button is released and pressed again.  Pressing and holding the push button for 2 minutes is only required for the touchpad connection on the lane module.
    • If "TP" is visible for longer than 2 seconds and/or flashes any time after the first 2 seconds while the push button is being held for 2 minutes, the lane module is bad.
    • If the console is set to Normal Order, the "TP" will show in lane 1. If the console is set to Reverse Order, the "TP" will show in the last lane.
  8. Plug a standard push button into the BUTTON 1 jack on the first lane module, press and release the button.
    1. The left LCD on the OmniSport 2000 console should show a "B1" in lane 1.
  9. Plug a standard push button into the BUTTON 2 jack on the first lane module, press and release the button.
    1. The left LCD on the console should show a "B2" in lane 1.
  10. Plug a standard push button into the BUTTON 3 jack on the first lane module, press and release the button.
    1. The left LCD on the console should show a "B3" in lane 1.
  11. Repeat Steps 5 through 7 on the 2nd lane module.
  12. Test is complete on the first lane module. Remove the first lane module and plug the 2nd lane module into "J10" "NEAR END" jack on the back of the console.
  13. Plug the next lane module to test into "TO NEXT LANE" jack on the lane module you just connected to the console.
  14. Repeat steps 4-10 to test the two lanes modules connected to the console.
  15. Label and replace any faulty lane modules.
