How do I run DD-404X Test Patterns through File Sender?

Resolution

  1. Open File Sender.
  2. Select Port
    1. 000009192.jpg
    2. Select  Port Monitor
    3. Select the COM port being used.
  3. Select Open Port.
  4. Select Tools>Test Patterns from top menu bar.

  5. Select Test Pattern of your choice, then set desired Dimming level and Gamma level.

  6. Click the Send button to start test pattern.
  7. When finished, select Disable from the Pattern dropdown. (note:  Test Venus Dimming after using Test Patterns, if it does not respond, reboot DD and test again)

Note: All test patterns that DO NOT say Trans Table Independent are built onto the Translation Table.  These will take some time to generate the test pattern depending on size of the Display.  All of the Trans Table Independent test patterns push a color out to any LED attached to the DD's signal path.
