How do I register or license my Vanguard Software?

Steps

  • If your license has already expired try to log in and start at step 3

 

Vanguard Professional:
  1. Acquiring the license file:
    1. Click on the Blue V in the top left of the software.
    2. Click on Licensing details.
    3. Click on Change current licensing.
    4. Click on Acquire license.
    5. Click on Call Daktronics.
    6. Call 1-800-833-3157, provide the following information:
      • Software lock code
      • Email address
      • First name
      • Last name
      • Machine name (computer name the software is on)
    7. Daktronics will email you a license for your software. Then continue to the next step.
  2. Loading the License file:
    1. Click the Previous button 2 times.
    2. Click on Add licensing details.
    3. Click on Add license from file.
    4. Click on Browse to the location where you saved the DaktronicsLicense.lic file previously.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Restart your computer to complete the process.

 

Vanguard Standard:
  1. Acquiring the license file:
    1. Click on the System options.
    2. Click on Licensing details.
    3. Click on Change current licensing.
    4. Click on Acquire license.
    5. Click on Call Daktronics.
    6. Call 1-800-833-3157, provide the following information:
      • Software lock code
      • Email address
      • First name
      • Last name
      • Machine name (computer name the software is on)
    7. Daktronics will email you a license for your software. Then continue to the next step.
  2. Loading the License file:
    1. Click the Previous button 2 times.
    2. Click on Add licensing details.
    3. Click on Add license from file.
