Steps
- If your license has already expired try to log in and start at step 3
Vanguard Professional:
- Acquiring the license file:
- Click on the Blue V in the top left of the software.
- Click on Licensing details.
- Click on Change current licensing.
- Click on Acquire license.
- Click on Call Daktronics.
- Call 1-800-833-3157, provide the following information:
- Software lock code
- Email address
- First name
- Last name
- Machine name (computer name the software is on)
- Daktronics will email you a license for your software. Then continue to the next step.

Loading the License file:
- Click the Previous button 2 times.
- Click on Add licensing details.
- Click on Add license from file.
- Click on Browse to the location where you saved the DaktronicsLicense.lic file previously.
- Click on Finish.
- Restart your computer to complete the process.
Vanguard Standard:
- Acquiring the license file:
- Click on the System options.
- Click on Licensing details.
- Click on Change current licensing.
- Click on Acquire license.
- Click on Call Daktronics.
- Call 1-800-833-3157, provide the following information:
- Software lock code
- Email address
- First name
- Last name
- Machine name (computer name the software is on)
- Daktronics will email you a license for your software. Then continue to the next step.
