Steps

Single Sign-On does the following: 
  • Reduce/Eliminate the need for multiple usernames and passwords 
  • Reduce the lag between user status changes and VCS access 
  • Assume more control of password requirements 
  • Enable multi-factor authentication 
  • Reduce the effort required for managing user access to VCS

General Notes:

  • If you log in from OKTA, it should take you into VCS without showing you the VCS login page.
  • If you are set up for SSO and log in from the main page, it could give you the generic message about the user name/password not being correct.
  • If your SSO does not work or you are missing entitlements, contact your company's IT department / Client OpenID Admin
