Steps

Single Sign-On (SSO) does the following: 
  • Reduce/Eliminate the need for multiple usernames and passwords 
  • Reduce the lag between user status changes and VCS access 
  • Assume more control of password requirements 
  • Enable multi-factor authentication 
  • Reduce the effort required for managing user access to VCS

General Notes:

If you log in using Single Sign-On (SSO), you should be taken directly into VCS without seeing the VCS login screen.

However, if you're set up for SSO and attempt to log in from the main page, you may encounter a generic error message indicating that your username or password is incorrect.

If your SSO access fails or you're missing required entitlements, please contact your organization's IT department or Client OpenID Administrator for assistance.
