How to setup an automatic polling scenario in Vanguard Professional

  • How do I setup a scenario to automatically update display status in Vanguard?

Steps

  1. Log into Vanguard Professional software.
  2. Select Scenario Management under the Tools tab.
  3. Select Add (second column in Manage Scenarios window).
  4. Select Add polling group.
  5. Select all displays that you would like to have the Status retrieved from, then select Next.
  6. Set how often you want the polling scenario to run, or set at what time each day you would like the scenario to run, then select Next.
    1. At this stage, you may also chose whether or not to run the scenario at low priority.
  7. Enter the name of the scenario, then select Next.
  8. Review the scenario details for accuracy, then select Finish.
