Steps

Loopback test on DM-100 POS port.

  • Press the Menu button.
  • Arrow up or down to Diagnostics Menu, press Enter.
  • Arrow up or down to COM Diagnostic, press Enter.
  • Arrow up or down to Comport Test, press Enter.
  • Arrow down to RS232 Com1, press Enter, and short out Pins 2 & 3 using a paper clip or small conductor.
    • LCD screen will show if test passes or fails.
