Does Daktronics sell an antenna protector to protect the radio receiver antenna?

Steps

  • U-bolts are included in the universal indoor/outdoor radio receiver kit.
  • To install (for indoor scoreboards):
      • Remove antenna to be able to pull gold threads back into the scoreboard.  
      • Remove radio receiver from radio controller bracket or you will drill into the radio receiver.  Drilling in for the U-Bolt would go into the radio receiver mounting bracket and through the radio receiver.
      • Install U-Bolts per DWG-1130990 located in the Gen VI Radio Installation Manual.
      • If receiver still holds in the radio controller bracket while sitting on the bolt continue to use or clean the surface off inside the scoreboard and mount with Velcro. Make sure to account for being able to thread the gold antenna threads back through the face of the scoreboard for the antenna.
      • Thread on the antenna.
