Steps
Bridge software configuration
These steps can be followed for the M-Series Hardware Bridge, once the M-Series Hardware Bridge has been physically installed on the network. Start at step 3 of the "Bridge software configuration - Install the Venus M-Bridge software" below.
- If this is a new installation of the M-Series Bridge, there should be a Pre-Installation checklist attached to the case which provides display and bridge IP information.
- The display should be set to a static IP provided by the customer.

Bridge software configuration- Install the Venus M-Bridge software
- Prior to installation of the Venus M-Bridge software, install Daktronics Display Find . (Need to install version 1.3.3.0 or higher)
- Install Venus M-Bridge software (0A-1603-0020). (NOTE: Software Bridge cannot be installed on same machine as Locally-Hosted Venus Control Suite).
- The newest versions are compatible with 10 OS or later.
- Windows 7 and Windows 8 users will need to contact support to get a usable version.
- Will install successfully on machine with Venus 1500 V4 already installed.
- Run Display Find or open an internet browser and enter machine's IP if known and press Enter. Note: If Display Find does not work, and the bridge PC is on a network, try using the host name ex:BRDG-01-XXXX.
- Note GUID (take a screen shot for future reference).
Bridge software configuration- Configure the software to talk to Venus Control Suite
- Click on Configuration on the left side menu.
- Enter the Host:
- For Daktronics Hosted enter: https://venus.daktronics.com
- For Locally Hosted enter: https://(hostcomputername)
- Enter Port information:
- Contact Daktronics Technical Support if you are unsure of the port information
- Click on Save button.
Associate the bridge management software in Venus
⚠️This action can only be performed by an Account Administrator.
Log into Venus Control Suite. Enter Email/UserName and Password associated with account and click on Log In button.
