How to Manually Play VNET Layout File

  • How do you manually play the layout file if the layout is blanked?

Environment

Steps

  1. Right-click in the Scripting container and select New Button.
  2. Click in the textbox at the top of the scripting window and give the button a name, such as Initialize Layout.
  3. Click the + button at the bottom of the window to create a new scripting line.
  4. Select DMP-8000 Player Control and proceed to step 2 by clicking the right arrow or the number 2.
  5. Checkmark the :primary zone and continue to step 3.
  6. Play is the default option, so continue to step 4.
  7. Click the Add button and select the layout file. If unsure of the file name, look for LAYOUT in the type column. Click Open, then continue to step 5.
  8. Continuous will be selected by default. Click Save to create the button.
  9. Test the button by clicking it to verify the layout file plays and that you can now use your original buttons.
  10. After the layout file is initialized again and operability is verified, modify the button causing the layout file to blank by right-clicking the button and selecting Properties, uncheck the :primary zone and select the zone meant for playback.
  11. The layout file can also be reinitialized by restarting the VNET player.
