What’s the third trend?
In the first two posts of this series, we blogged about trends towards tighter pixel pitches and access to outstanding content.

Today, we’re moving on to another trend, and that’s product reliability.

Not only is an LED sign a big investment, retailers can’t afford for it to go black and cut off potential sales. You want to be confident that the sign you sell your customer is robust and climate protected.

combined-images-blogAsk your sign manufacturer
As you talk to your LED sign manufacturer, ask what steps they’re taking to make sure the product is fully protected from Mother Nature. Will the sign hold up for ten years or more in a hot, humid, salty climate such as on the east coast? How about high winds and double-digit, below-zero cold as in Canada?

What about Daktronics and the trend for robust LED signs?
Go ahead. Ask us! We built a product reliability lab in 2007 filled with equipment testing our products’ limits. Our engineers use the data to design weather-ready LED signs that you and your customers can rely on.

And if you sell Daktronics signs, use our reliability lab to market your company and differentiate yourself from competitors. Take a virtual tour of the lab and share this link with your customers: Daktronics.com/productreliability See LED signs running underwater, subjected to extreme temps, and more!

Best of all, visit us and tour the lab in person. We’d love to have you as our guest. Contact your Daktronics rep.

See you next week!
