Answer/Steps

To Enable User Security:

  1. Launch Venus 1500 v4.
  2. Click on the Orange V Application Menu and choose Venus 1500 Options.
  3. Click on User Security.
  4. Place a check in the Enable User Security (Requires a Restart).
  5. You will be prompted to restart the Venus 1500 v4 Software, click Ok and close Venus 1500 v4.
  6. Re-launch Venus 1500 v4 and Enter in Username and Password.
    • Default Username: administrator
    • Default Password: password

To Disable User Security:

  1. Launch Venus 1500 v4.
    1. If prompted with Username and Password, enter in the Administrator username and password or the Username and Password set to the software.
    2. Default Username: administrator
    3. Default Password: password
  2. Click on the Orange V Application Menu and choose Venus 1500 Options.
  3. Click on User Security.
  4. Uncheck the Enable User Security (Requires a Restart).
  5. You will be prompted to restart the Venus 1500 v4 Software, click Ok and close Venus 1500 v4.
  6. Re-launch Venus 1500 v4 and you should no longer receive the Username and Password prompt.
