Answers/Steps
Step 1: Install M2Config.
Step 2: Connect to display using M2Config utility, using the option below that matches the communication protocol for your Galaxy display. *Note: Make sure to close any Venus 1500 or Show Control/Display Studio applications.
TCP/IP (Ethernet)
- Click Network at the top, then click Configure Connection.
- Choose TCP/IP for type.
- Enter the HW address in the Address box.
- Enter the IP address needed to talk to the display in the IP Address Box.
- Click OK.
- Click Network at the top, then click Connect.
Direct (Serial connection)

Click Network at the top, then click Configure Connection.
- Choose Direct for type.
- Enter the HW address in the Address box.
- Select the correct Com port. Note: This is assigned by your computer.
- Select the correct Baud Rate. Refer to the following for the default/standard settings:
- M2 Controller - 19200
- M3 Controller - 115200
- Click OK.
- Click Network at the top, then click Connect.
Modem
- Click Network at the top, then click Configure Connection.
- Choose Modem for type.
- Enter the HW address in the Address box.
- Select the correct Modem Device. Note: This is assigned by your computer.
- Enter the phone number that is dedicated for the sign.
- Click OK.
- Click Network at the top, then click Connect.
