​Note: Venus 1500 Version 3 is supported and designed to work on operating systems up to Windows Vista only.

Venus 1500 V3 - Galaxy, GalaxyPro (3500 and 3700)

  • No audio on the video (Play in Media Player and listen for sound)
  • Video Frame Rate: 30 FPS (Frames per Second)
  • Video Color Depth: 24 Bit Rate
  • Video Compression/File Format: Uncompressed AVI Required
  • 300 Frames total or 1MB file size, whichever comes first.
    • GalaxyPro 3700 can do up to 1500 Frames or 64MB file size, whichever comes first.

Venus 1500 V4 - Galaxy, GalaxyPro, GPR Series, GP3, GP4, DVNMC

  • There can be NO audio on the video (Play in Media Player and listen for sound).
  • Video Frame Rate: 30 FPS (Frames per Second)
  • Video Color Depth: 24 Bit RGB
  • Video File Format:
    • AVI (Preferred), MPG, MPEG, MP4, MOV and WMV.
      • Note: MP4 is a file format that is supported, but needs to have a supported Video compression.  Listed below are known supported compressions.
  • Video File Compression:
    • Uncompressed (Preferred/Recommended), MPEG-4, H.264.
      • Note: QuickTime/RLE (Often labeled as lossless in Adobe AfterEffects) is not supported.

Show Control Systems - DVX, DVN, DVNMC

  • Do not load Videos thru Content Studio.
  • Move file into Content folder and create a button to initialize the file.
  • Video Frame Rate: 30 FPS (Frames per Second).
  • Video Color Depth: 24 Bit RGB
  • Video File Format:
    • AVI(Preferred prior to VNet 6.4), MP4(Preferred after VNet 6.4), MPG, MPEG, MOV and WMV.  DMP-8000 Content Pauses on the Last Frame then Continues to Play, DD3122484.
      • Note: MP4 is a file format that is supported, but needs to have a supported Video compression. Uncompressed (Preferred/Recommended), MPEG-4, H.264.
      • Note: QuickTime/RLE (Often labeled as lossless in Adobe AfterEffects) is not supported.

Visiconn - G-Net Valo and V-Net

  • Video Frame Rate: 30 FPS (Frames per Second)
  • Color Depth: 24 Bit RGB
  • File Format: AVI, MOV or SWF.
  • Video Compression:
    • AVI - Must be uncompressed or compressed using the HuffyUV, Xvid or DivX codecs.
      • G-NET Displays - Only supports Uncompressed AVI.
    • MOV - Must be compressed as a H.264 or QuickTime codec.
      • G-NET Not supported. 
    • SWF - Must be published in Versions 6-9 and Player Computer is required to have FLASH Player installed.
      • G-NET Not supported.
  • Audio (Only supported on DMP-8000 players with Audio Systems).
    • Codecs supported with AVI files.
      • PCM (WAV) and MP3.
    • Codecs supported with MOV files.
      • RAW, SOWT, and MP4A.
