Gas price display does not change using FLXR radios, antenna disconnected from the Server radio

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to change prices on the displays manually from the DM-100.
  • DM-100 shows a "Display Error No Response -5" error.
  • Power cycling the system doesn't fix it.
  • The Server radio shows less than 5 bars when it would normally show 5 bars.

Cause

  • The antenna has been disconnected from the Server radio either at the radio or at the antenna itself.

Resolution

    1. Power down the Server radio, displays and disconnect the DM-100 from the Server radio.
    2. Reconnect the antenna.
    3. Power up the Server radio.
    4. Power up the displays.
    5. Connect the DM-100 to the Server radio.
    6. If the DM-100 firmware is at 4.4 you may need to run Detect Displays - Unable to change prices using a newly installed DM-100 with firmware ver. 4.4, run "Detect Displays" DD4540652
    7. Verify you can update prices.
