Unable to clear message from AF-6710

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to get a test message to clear from the sign.
  • DVS doesn't see the message as being on the sign, and sending a blank message does not clear the current message.
  • The message is not a test pattern played from RGB test script software.

Cause

  •    Unknown

Resolution

  • Disable the write filter.
  • Close chromium & reopen it. This has show to clear the mystery test message.
  • re enable the write filter.
  • Cycle power to the sign to ensure the changes took.
