Pace Clock Right Digit Incrementing Every 10 Seconds

Potential Symptoms

  • Rather than showing the time counting up, it shows the right digit change every 10 seconds when connected to an Omnisport 2000 console.
  • Pace Clock will operate normally when using preset mode.
  • When counting up, it will initially be blank and increment up to 5 every 10 seconds, then stay at 5 once the console goes over 1 minute.
  • RTD will show the time counting up normally.

Cause

  • Omnisport is set to Omega instead of Multi-drop for the scoreboard protocol.

Resolution

  1. Press [MENU] > 4 > 4 > 1 on the OmniSport console.
  2. Change the output type from OMEGA to MULTI-DROP using the UP/DOWN arrows, then press ENTER.
  3. Verify proper operation of Pace Clock when using the Omnisport console.
