Steps
- Yes, it is possible to override a BCD activated message. BCD has a priority of 128 (Normal).
- The message must be a higher priority than the BCD-activated messages
- Create a message with appropriate priority in Vanguard Professional Content Studio.
- Activate the message with Vanguard Professional software (or other NTCIP-compliant software cable of creating content with specific priority).
- Refresh status in Vanguard and verify the message is playing.
- To revert back to BCD-activated (local control) message, blank the display in Vanguard Professional software.
- Then refresh status to verify BCD-activated message is playing.
